get a second job

Praying I’ll get this job. It will help me get above the poverty line. I need this second job, more than anything.

playing the waiting game…in the mean time I applied to 10 jobs today alone. I hope I get this second job at the bank. I’m crossing my fingers.

This is going to be very difficult considering I share my car with my boyfriend. I have one job and he has four part time jobs. I definitely want to pick up the slack as far as getting another job but it’s really hard to coordinate that when our jobs are in different towns and his one job requires him to drive around from place to place. The bus system sucks here. One time he had to wait 2 hours for the bus and when he called for bus info the people were rude and gave contradictory info to him. Not to mention the fares were not updated, the bus driver asked for more money than what the website/person on phone told him to pay. In a nutshell the bus system sucks and it’s not really an option. I know I could look into stay at home jobs. One of them is a PSO but I don’t feel entirely comfortable with that, although it is legal. I’ve done online surveys and it’s a waste of time. I spent hours doing it the other day, I had over $11 on this one site and the next day it was dropped down to $6. So that’s not going to be a reliable source of income. We have to move soon so I don’t want to get a job in the town I’m in now and then have to tell them in a couple months I’m moving.

It’s convoluted I know. But any advice would be appreciated. For now I’m just planning on picking up all the hours I can at work. Like yesterday I was offered to stay late and I jumped on that, I doubled my hours for the day. I’m just tired of having to worry about money all the time. I know I’ll figure out something, it’s just frustrating. But yeah, any advice would be great. Thanks! :-)
