This is by first Brazilian beer. It is also the darkest beer I’ve ever had, darker than Guinness at midnight during a power outage. It was really tasty.

I went out with co-workers today after work and had two pints. The first one I hated, I wish I could remember the type it was because it was too sharp for me. The second was quite vanillish, which was rather a bizarre flavor for a stout. I stopped at a book store on my way home to sober up.
I drank this last night after spending the entire evening on a whirlwind cleaning frenzy. I was tired and exhausted and this beer hit the spot.
I have fond memories of drinking beer in Mexico. I have a few fuzzy memories of drinking tequila there, but that is another story. I learned to love the Mexican beer during my 3 week tour of the country, but sadly this beer did not bring back those memories. It tasted rather watered down like many American beers. I’ll just have to go back to Mexico to drink it.
I picked this one up a few days ago when I didn’t see any pumpkin beers. It’s not too bad, but there is just something that is a little off on this one.
My wife bought this beer for me because I made such a fuss over shopping on the East side of town without hitting the specialty food shop that sells imported beers. It was much better than the two pumpkin beers I tried last year.
A red hoppy beer. My wife thought it smelled sweet, but I thought it was very bitter and dry. I liked their Private Reserve better. I bought two more by the same brewery when I found I liked one of their beers.
I am not sure why I got so excited when I saw this at the grocery store for only a buck. The bottle has the look of a European beer, but it’s brewed here in the states. It was tasty, but too watery.
Another German beer with sludge on the bottom. Once again I can taste too much yeast. I really need to avoid German beers. This one was particularly hard to pour without the yeast since it was such a large bottle.
My son was so eager to open and pour my beer for me, I just had to let him. I once taught my daughter to pour a beer (it may come in handy for her to know this) but apparently the lesson did not get passed on to my son. The glass ended up mostly foam and it slowly rose past the lip. The beer was quite tasty. I may have to buy that one again.
