with the Venture crew. It was a hoot. There was no white waters, but the Sturgeon river is the fastest river in lower Michigan and it twists and turns with many over hanging trees. I took a turn in the stern and was exhausted from guiding the raft around all the obstacles. After 2 hours the river slowed down and straightened out and some of the less experienced boys took a turn as the stern man.
