had a banana and half a yoghurt shake for a quick breakfast at 9. played squash at 10 against gill – tough game. had a small chocolate milk from scla after that. then lunch again from sushi boy at 2. spicy tuna roll, 3 pieces of salmon sushi and 2 pieces of salmon sashimi and a miso soup. had a granola-strawberry-yoghurt mix (that i bought from scla) at 4:30. that was delicious. now 6 pm. rani bought some fruits today – might have an orange in a bit. i’ll have an emergenc first. leaving home at 7:15 pm to meet a friend for a drink.

the miso soup, sushi/sashimi and the valentino role were excellent. filled me up, but i don’t have that full feeling that i usually have after eating indian food or rice. it came out to be $29, so i initially thought i might’ve ordered too much, but it wasn’t too much. the delivery from these people was superfast – must’ve been only 5 mins – fastest i have experienced in nyc. feel like having a smoothie or a yoghurt or a fruit salad now, but don’t have any left in my fridge and don’t have the time to go across the street to the supermarket, so i might just have a glass of emergenC before leaving home.

Feeling very hungry now, but below the threshold that gives me a headache.
Now 7:45 pm. Just had a glass of milk and a banana. Got busy with a work related call, so didn’t go to the supermarket.
Now 6 pm. Had a bowl of Post maple pecan serial and a French Vanilla coffee for breakfast around 11:30 am. A serving of maple pecan serial with half a cup of fat free milk has 260 calories, 50 calories from fat, 4g of protein and 13g of sugar. This is my favorite cereal. FV coffee has 60 calories, 25 cals of fat, and 8g of sugar. Had a large salad from Curly’s and two crabcakes (couldn’t resist ordering that as well) for lunch around 3. The salad that came with the crabcakes had cucumber, black bean and corn. Also had some Tuscan salad – that has grilled vegetables, white bean salad, sun-dried tomato, olives, tomatoes, provolone, cucumber and red onion. I’m going to buy fruit salad, soy milk, yoghurt and some cereal from Associated Market.
Had some tuna salad from a packet and a small candy bar in the evening around 7 I think. Just had some more rice and veg madras. Now 1:20 am. Got back from squash only around 11 and food was delivered only at 11:45. Had about 75% of it initially and then took a shower. Told myself that I might fall sick if I don’t eat enough, so just had the rest of the rice and curry! Still feeling pretty hungry. Have a headache since I haven’t eaten much all day. Although the headache could be from all the beers yesterday and perhaps not drinking enough water today. Been feeling a bit dehydrated all day. Headache could also very well be from my lack of sleep. Slept only about 4.5 hours last night and I have been up since 9 am.
Had a pre-prepared Lasagna with meat sauce meal. 280 calories. Feeling pretty hungry now since all I’ve had so far have been an apple and a cup of tea. Also skipped dinner last night (although I more than made up for the calories by having all those beers). Going to have an apple now. Planning on taking a nap after that. Should start getting used to sleeping and taking naps without having a completely full stomach.
Had 3 large beers and 3 small beers last night with Jack. Was initially going slowly, but later just kept going. We were at the Billiard bar from 12:45 am until 4:15 am. The beer here is good, but I should’ve stopped after 2 beers. If I’m serious about losing 10 pounds of fat, I should really cut down my beer intake for the next couple of months. No, stop it entirely for the next couple of months. Will be tough if/when I meet Suresh in London- just have a Vodka/soda instead. Did well to stop after a couple of beers when I went out with Jack on Sunday. I think I had 3 small beers on Monday, one initially with Ajit, and then a couple with Adam. Did not go out on Tuesday night.
Sipping some Ceylon Tea that I just made in the Prague office. Should make tea more often when Im back in the US.
Indian food from Tandoor again. Options here in Prague are limited. Had steamed rice, vegetable jalfrezi a little chicken bhuna and a small piece of sheekh kabab. Did not eat as much as usual when I order out or get food delivered.
