getting tired of living like a guest in my own house.

Hmmmm . I was thinking that if it hasn’t sold by June 1, I’d just keep it – but Memorial Day Weekend is May 22 through 25 this year. So Thursday May 21, I’m done.

If I keep it, I am gong to make some changes

Put the house on the market last week – I thought the date should be a lucky number Mar 3, 09 (3-6-9). LOL

I’ve had one showing in 10 days – too funy.

Honestly, I don’t “need” to sell it.
It’s a great neighborhood – Plano (honest, look it up, it’s one of the top places to live in America)
I’ve got a great mortgage rate (5.75). Monthly payments are less than you pay for an apartment. Utilities aren’t bad. (and I am still employed – although that could change – shrug)
I have a perfect pool – small enough that it doesn’t require constant attention – and a Magnolia Tree that sits like an umbrella at the Southwest corner of the pool – when it’s 95 degrees hot outside, there is nothing better than sitting in the pool, under the shade of a big tree with my favorite beverage, good company, and the smell of beef roasting on the BBQ – my little piece of heaven.

The elementary school is less than a 5 minute walk from the front door and my kids are all grown up and raising their own kids – seems kind of a waste for a single old guy to homestead when then there is some sweet little family out there that could have so much fun here.
