I am now the proud owner of stagebunny.com and stagebunnyscabinetofwonders.com. I have no hosting yet, so the sites are not up. I’m not even sure what I’m going to do with them since my etsy store is so easy to deal with right now. But I feel like I’ve made a little investment in my brand.

I have had it since March and have only made a couple of sales. That said, I have only recently started promoting outside of the Etsy site. There is so much to learn about the business of online selling. I have found that the jewelry market is heavily saturated, but I love to make my pieces anyway, so I’ll still persevere. I have leaned that blogs are a form of self-promotion, though I have yet to really get going on mine. I have discovered what materials are most popular and what kind of pictures I should have in my store (I have found that what I like best is not necessarily the most marketable). I have a “showcase” spot coming up in a few days (it’s a paid ad-type thing). I’m scrambling around trying to get the pictures right and some inventory listed. Although I price my items on hourly work, I do not take into account the endless time spent promoting, shopping for materials, taking pictures, etc. But it is a labor of love. And I do fall in love with just about every piece I make. :)
Eventually, I will be adding some yarnworks and, if I feel confident enough with them, some original ACEOs.
