I joined two French-speaking groups on Facebook. 22 months ago

One is for drinkers, and one is for people who go to bed too late, so they’re pretty much made for me. Now I just need to get the guts up to start posting in them.

Just picked up "Bonjour Tristesse" again. 22 months ago

Between campaigning for the presidency, belly dancing, and kissing babies, I will try to fit this in more often. I also have “The Little Prince” and a few other French titles to tackle. This should help me in my endeavors, once I am elected President, to strengthen Franco-American relations.

I borrowed this book and a couple of others from a French couple I know. They just got back from their last trip back home, and I’ve barely started! I was painstakingly writing down every word I didn’t know, but I think I need to change tactics and just read it and see what I can understand.

I have picked up the Pimsleur CD's 3 years ago

I got the first ones, so it’s a little basic for me, which is fine. They should also help with my accent, which is excellent because my director wants us to speak with French accents in the play I’m working on.

I have started my own ‘immersion’ project. Mostly, it’s just watching a bunch of French films and attempting some french novels. I’d like to get some books on tape to listen to while I read along.
