It was a much better game. I still lost, but was able to catch some of my opponent’s more important pieces. Yay!

I played a game after work yesterday. 3 years ago

Nortelry gave me some strategy tips and clues. I realized how much one has to take in when looking at the board. I see this as a way to train myself to be more far-sighted in my everyday life as well as in the game. It is also a lesson in keeping one’s pride in check. I was soundly defeated by Norty, but he was very supportive. I look forward to the next game.
