I've made progress but still have a long way to go... 15 months ago

I’ve raised $330 so far. I’m a lot closer to my goal of $500 but still have a bit more to go. AND…only 3 days to do it in!

I'm at $155 right now.... 15 months ago

I’ve got a long way to go to get to my $500 goal.
Anyone have any money raising suggestions?

I'm a little over 25% of the way there! 15 months ago

Thanks for your support…Keep it coming.
(Even $5 will help.)

So far.....a whole $50 16 months ago

I knew things were tight for folks right now but this is terrible. I can’t seem to even pry the loose change from people’s pockets. I’m not sure I’m going to come even half way to my goal of $500.

Help me help the world... 16 months ago

My Grandmother and I share the same middle name. I’ve been told that I’m a bit like her. She was outspoken, funny, and kind to anyone who was in need. She was a wonderful lady and I often think how sad it is I didn’t get to know her better.

Unfortunately, when I was in Middle School she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. By the time I was old enough to really appreciate getting to know her she was already forgetting how to make dinner and where she left her keys. She would laugh it off and at first things didn’t seem so bad. We all had hope that she would be okay. A few years later she passed away in a nursing home surrounded by a family she didn’t recognize.

I don’t want this to happen to anyone else. It’s not fair to have a loved one taken away in mind or body in such an awful way. This is why I’m joining MOVE and building a team to help raise money and awareness.
