It was hard but worth the effort! I don’t intend on continuing to sugar fast forever. However, doing the fast made me more aware of how much sugar my diet has consisted of. I will be more careful in the future about how much sugar I eat.

It’s like for a few weeks I don’t crave sugar at all and then… BAM! I want it all the time….I had a apple fritter just now and I’m feeling guilty.
1. Get serious about living healthy-Weight Watchers and a pledge of eating healthy food must be followed by cutting down on my sugar intake. It’s not a necessary part of any humans diet and it is time this human gets rid of the extra calories!
I’ve been doing so good at this and then yesterday I broke down and had not one but three chocolate chip cookies!! Sugar is from the devil.
I have banned extra sugar from my diet! So far the sweetest thing I have had in days is the smell of vanilla coming from the air freshner.
I am challenging myself to do a sugar “fast” from now until my B-Day on May 11th. I know I can’t cut sugar out of my diet completly but this means no extra sugar. No cookies, cake, pie or ice cream…I will allow one small thing a week which should help curb the cravings a bit. So…Here I go!
That’s me hauling my fat arse back onto the anti-sugar wagon…I start a new doctor prescribed diet next week and I figure I better start preparing now.
My BF’s sister makes fudge at the Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe and she gave us a huge box of it and….sigh…ok, I’m back on the wagon as of…...grrr…give me a few more minutes to have a few more chunks and then…
I have not eaten any ice cream, cake, cookies, pie, ect… for more than a week! I guess once you get out of the habit this is an easy goal to make. I still get cravings but since I would have to make an effort to go out of my way to do anything about them I have not given in.
