I have this great ability to fade into the background. It makes life a lot easier when there are crazies around or a tense situation that I’d like to stay out of. Sometimes I’m so good at this that I really feel like for a moment I AM invisible! :)

33-I’m a good listener.

I’ll never forget an early date I had with an ex of mine. We were having breakfast together at a roadside cafe and playing a sort of getting to know you 20 questions. He asked me what I thought my best quality was. I told him it was my ability to listen and that people trusted me enough to tell me personal things. Just as this sentence was leaving my mouth the waitress came up to the table to refill our coffee and ended up telling me all about her life and asking for advise. After she walked away (10 minutes late) he just smiled at me and said, “I see what you mean.”

People are always suprised that their cat or dog or whatever comes right up and let’s me pet them. I seem to have an understanding with non-human creatures that makes them trust me right away. My BF calls me the “Cat Whisperer”.

I remember the first time I stepped out on stage and did something funny. It was the most amazing feeling in the world to see 300+ people smiling and laughing just because of me. It never gets old to see patrons moved to laughs (or tears) by my performances.
