move to California

Even though I’ve never even been to Cali, I still want to live there at least once in my lifetime. My fiancee and I are really leaning towards Phoenix, Arizona though. We are planning to move there within the next 5-6 years. So maybe we can have a summer home on the beach there in California.

Last night I watched Micheal moore’s new documentary Sicko and it really affected my perception of life in America period. I’ve been thinking “why make life harder than it has to be.” I could get a degree and live in London or Paris and be not only content, but healthy and in complete bliss. So maybe Cali can be a brief stop before I head east over the atlantic.

I currently live in Philadelphia,PA. Besides the violence, political corruption, police harassment, and city-wide double-parking this city can be enjoyed. But after 22 years and counting I believe that it is about time that I moved. I mean far from this city. When you stay in one place all of your life – not to mention a place with all of the cons that I just expressed in my 2nd sentence – it comes a time when you began to wonder how life would be somewhere else. After years of watching television and freezing winter temperatures California has become my destination as of now. But where in California?
