Lost weight reached... now tone out 7 months ago

So I reached my goal/ideal weight for my height and age.
I still need to get rid of this pouch I have around my waist. Now that I finally moved in to my new apartment with a swimming pool in just walking distance in my complex, it’s been a little easier to work out some of it. It also gives me the chance to learn how to swim…better. =)

Hopefully I could get at least the “hour glass” shape by June…

I recently checked I had lost 3 lbs… thats a good start. People say that I have slimmed down… However, I don’t see it. I’m still the same weight… 3 lbs though… hopefully it stays that way… it fluctuates every time…

Obviously I made this my ultimate challenge. Since I transferred to the university and staying in the dorms (after 3 1/2 years in a community college), I finally gained my “freshman 15” more like freshman 20. I was a size 2 to a size 9 (within 5 months).

I need to lose the excess fat around my hips. I want a slimmer waistline as well as a flat stomach so that I could look better in a swimsuit. I need to lose at least 10 pounds by the end…and I be good and feel healthier. I seriously need to eat better foods.

Once again I started to eat healthy and working out at the gym. Everytime I start working out and all, I get sick…it’s weird. My body acts just the opposite. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I work out and just yesterday I almost skipped out on going to the gym and doing my usual aerobics kwando class, but I forced myself to go and work out even though I feel kinda under the blue (it was a minor cold – sore throat mostly). Usually, when I get sick I stop going to the gym. But, this time I actually went, worked out for about an hour and 15 minutes and when I came back home, I feel much better and refreshed. I conquered my fear/obstacle!!! YAY for me!

okay, i MUST start working out again soon… i got 2 weeks left of school and i’m done for the semester! it has been a crazy semester of lots of stress. i thought last semester was hectic…but no doubt this was. i love summer and the beach…but i am not fit at all to flaunt my stuff. dorm foods are a killer…so unhealthy even if i try to eat healthy there…they just don’t have much. im going to try runnning more and work on my abs…i need my stomach to be flat and hopefully my hips can slim a little more.

okay, i finally went to the gym again; first time for this year. i started out slow and easy just so i can get used to it again. hopefully i can do this as a routine thing now. i prefer working out in the late afternoon but now that all my classes are from 4 to 7 and 7 to 9pm, i just cant work out. my goal is to try waking up early and actually go to the gym before noon.

i just went to the gym with my brother for the first time since august. yeah…haven’t really put much effort since. first of all the reasons why are that i like working out around the afternoon/night time but all my classes were at that time. second, i didn’t want to get sick from there again where i got hospitalized because of some viral infection that was going around in there. and third, i lost some motivation because i decided not join the ROTC air force. but, today….it was alright. i just need to work on my hips and waist… gotta get rid of the holiday food too…



falling behind 3 years ago

this week of school and finals is over in less than 24 hours and the dorms will kick us out tomorrow. i got a few more stuff to pack and one more exam to take in the morning. the past two weeks ive been behind on going to the gym and i havent ran forever since then. last week i only been working on my abs but now this whole week i did nothing but studied. =( hopefully by next week i will start a full out work out routine. im almost there to my goal:

1 1/2 mile run in 11 minutes
50 crunches in 1 minute
40 push-ups (not the girl ones)

As for my abs, i have it, its flat but all i have now is to work on my cardio to get rid of the baby fat…



I wanna look good 3 years ago

I want to look good so I can wear my clothes again (they don’t fit me at the moment) and I want to look good in a bikini!
