learn thai

Didn’t learn as much thai as i’d have liked.. basically used “hello” and “thankyou” the most, and had a basic idea of some touristy things..
Everyone speaks such good english over there anyway!

Just been reading up on the polite male/female endings for a sentance! Kaa for female and krap for my boy! =)

Now that i have booked my trip to Thailand, i think its only obvious that i should learn to speak some Thai!

I learnt my first Thai word today: Hello = Sa-wat dee

Im not expecting to be fluent in Thai, but i hope to learn enough in the next couple of months to communicate whilst we’re over there. I don’t want to have to rely solely on english, even though i’ve heard most Thai people these days know a lot of english. I also think its respectful to learnat least a little about the country you are traveling to. It will be fun also!

I’ve always wanted to learn another language!
