I used to grind my teeth to the point that I had my first cavity in college (I cried over this). My teeth were cracking. Ick! I got one of those expensive mouth guards and used it religiously (if for no other reason than I was afraid of more cavities!) I don’t believe it solved the problem as I chewed it in half…I woke up one morning with 2 pieces in my mouth. Double ick! I did yoga regularly for a couple of years and relieved stress in more ways than I realized possible. Ran out of money for those classes and that fell by the wayside. Did not grind for a couple of years after all that until just recently. Have a little stress with a new baby in the house…apparently enough to make a difference. I need to find a way to relax again, as it is affecting my relationship with my husband and making me very irritable in general. Perhaps I will start with yoga again. I’ll let you know how that goes…
