I changed this goal from read the Bible to study the Bible because I want to not only read it, but also have a deeper understanding. I wasn’t keeping up with the yearly Bible read through. I find that I prefer reading it from the book over reading it online. The first book of the Bible that I want to study is the gospel of John.

The Yearly Bible Read Through 4 years ago

I am familiar with a lot of the Bible due to being raised going to Sunday School as well as taking a college course on the Old Testament. I once started reading the Bible from Genesis with the intention of reading all the way through; I stopped somewhere around Ruth. I found the yearly Bible read through via jasonjoh’s entry.
I just started today and so far the site seems really cool.
If I continue with this site I shall have read the Bible in its’ entirety in one year.
