From a time-off perspective, it’ll be difficult for Alexis. We’d need twice as much time off as she gets every year. It means we’d have to save enough money to allow her to take off for about a month without pay. That’ll be a challenge. I’m not even sure our truck and our RV would be able to take it. I understand not all of the road is paved, and we don’t have a 4×4. Even so, I’m making this a five year plan, shooting for summer of 2014. If we can do 6300 miles (Coast-to-coast and back again) next summer, we can do the AK Hwy!
