This goal encompasses several of my other goals

Such as learning other languages, going on sabbatical, writing papers, presenting at conferences, traveling, trying new ethnic cuisines…
The problem is that I won’t actually be able to realize this goal for AT LEAST six more years when I’m eligible to take sabbatical. Fulbright Scholars generally spend one to two semesters at their host institutions. In order to make that kind of commitment, I’d have to be on leave from my home school. I just got there! I can’t very well ask for time away yet.
