I saw this scrawled in pencil in one of the tables in our office pantry.
Only when the last tree has been cut
And the last river has trickled
Will man realize that you can not eat money.
It was funny, but sobering.

Global Warming is scary. It’s already hot enough as it is in my country. And the temperature is still climbing. People in the Philippines are not yet very conscious nor concerned about this phenomenon. And the ordinary person you see on the streets don’t really give a rat’s ass about what’s happening to our planet. I can’t do anything about the whole country, but I’ve been boring my friends and co-workers silly to start recycling, reducing, and conserving. I knew I was making progress when one of my friends started bringing her own coffee thermos to Starbucks. And it felt really, really great!
