learn italian

I never really thought about this until recently. Usually I hate languages…I had a bad German teacher in middle school and a horrible run with Spanish in high school. Languages just don’t interest me…but then I started to really notice the beauty of Italy and began to want to travel there. This coincided nicely with my college’s requirements to learn a language. So, upon my boyfriend’s advice (he’s really pretty smart with languages), I decided to give myself a clean slate and start over with a brand new language. I start this fall in an Italian course, and hopefully someday I can be fluent enough to visit Italy and find my way around!
