Selling the exercise tapes cause can’t get myself to dance in front of the TV :)
I think dancing is an activity for two and requires that you face each other.
So decided I’d go back to my roots weight lifting.
Got a gym set for home cause lets face it without someone to go with me I’m not going to make it to the gym regularly but of course if its at home I’ve no excuse not use it (well we’ll see).
So far I’m still holding steady in the 180 range. Course that ain’t no 6 pack

Here’s the ironny was talking to someone in Singapore
and we got to talking about weight loss so I pointed her
to my lazy efforts (on this set of entries actually)
I started reading through and realized I haven’t weighed myself over the last month or so, so I did and I weigh 175…
For a denouement this is very anti climactic but then I still haven’t achieved my goal besides I’m no where
near in shape for the pampalona goal
So I guess I’ve run out of excuses I need to start going to the gym….
But then that’s what I said a few months ago ;)

So much talk so little action: This would be me, chidding myself for not living up to the statement I made 3 weeks ago.
I guess it would help if I had a gym patner.
I am most active in a gym when I have someone to go with.
As a teenager, the best gym patners I had were
a. A buddy A who is now a proud father and miles away from here
b. My best friends Mom, I’m told she’s still in great shape but even more miles away from here
I guess I should start looking for a new Gym Partner :)

I weighed myself dreading how much I’ve gained with all the eating and partying I’ve been doing lately.
Surprizing I’m still 180.
Of course this only says I’ve stagnated so tonight gonna start some stomach exercises. Got to get a move on that 6 pack goal if I’m to complete this list.

Had a very busy day and didn’t get home till 11pm. If I keep living like this (eat , work, eat , sleep(of sorts)) I’m gonna start putting on the pounds again. Truth is though I’m not gaining any weight living like this but I’m not loosing any either and I need to exercise to get a six pack. If the goal was to stabilize I guess I’m doing okay.
To get results though I’ve got to do better.

Its been over a month, since I got my Hip Hop Abs tape and it’s still unopened.
That isn’t the problem though, the problem is my sleeping habits. I find that I’m spending more nights up and that is wrecking havoc with my system.
Some nights, it’s for company, some nights it’s cause I’m worried about the direction my life is going and some nights it’s cause…
Now if I could sleep on the other two nights, I’m sure my system can handle one in three nights up :) .
Anyway got to get back to the goal, gonna start the gym thursday (got too much to do today (plus I haven’t slept much tonight and so I’d be lucky to get through the day)

No sooner had I said I’ve hit a plateau and something unexpected happened.
I was up late yesterday night in the office working inbetween eating sweets (kaju katli) and chocolates (cause I didn’t want to stop what I was doing to go get dinner).
Anyway, headed home around midnight and had desert :).
this morning I weigh a pound less.
Of course this is just a statistical anomaly but wouldn’t it be nice if I just discovered that sweets and chocolate were the panacea to loosing weight :D.

I took Jayme’s advice and invested in a home exercise routine. Figured I’d go with Hip Hop Abs instead of P90X (it focuses on the abs and I get to work on my goal to dance :) ). Can’t wait for it to arrive.

I’m putting in a minimum of 2 days (30 minutes plus) a week at the gym and maybe 100 sit ups a week.
Loose figures, I think I’ll need to hit 171 for the abs to loose all the extra fat (The love handles are still there but I’ve had them for so long I don’t think, I need to loose them completely to start showing the six pack).
