Shabbat services at the Synagogue were very, very awesome tonight. Lots of people, great music, really special.
I needed a good thing like this. I’ve been drowning in problems at work and home, so this little reprieve was just the shot in the arm I needed.
It is cold tonight. Clear starry sky. I love this time of year. The cold seems to heighten my senses and seeing the stars so well is very wonderful.

I’m finding work life and home life very, very difficult these days. Coming up with good things is getting tough to do.
However, I decided to give myself 30 minutes on the way home from work tonight. I have a favorite stretch of country road that is (sort of) on the way home. The sun had just set, making the clouds FIRE RED in color. I pulled over to the side of the road and listened to the cows talking in gentle tones to each other. It is very cold now and you can see the vapor coming out of their noses. Stars were starting to peek out. It was very quiet and calm. Wonderful!

Cold, gray, cloudy weather. I love it. I love they way everything is gray. Gradients of gray actually.
Spent an entire hour at lunch, for once in a month.
Clouds broke on drive home, presenting a wonderful sunset.
Very chilly jump into the pool tonight. Water temp between 55 and 58. The rush you get when you hit the water is like nothing else.

Woke up at 5:00am in a panic, thinking of all that I had to do today.
Inspite of that, the day went very well, albeit busy.
Light mist and fog on the drive home, making the country landscape gorgeous. Everything was in grayscale. There is something calming about the way things look in gray.
Fed the army of family that live in the house these days.
Meeting at the Synagogue for a committee in 30 minutes, so I best skedaddle.

This should be my 200th entry on this goal. Previously I stated that I would stop at 200… changed my mind. I enjoy writing about this goal and intended to keep it going. Even though I don’t write everyday, I’ll keep the name the same.
