expand my social circle

I have achieved this goal, quite unexpectedly, but very happily. The more people I meet, the more friends I find through them. It just keeps growing and growing. I think I have finally found some quality people to spend quality experiences with! Things seem to be falling into place.

Having dinner at my new friend Bel’s place tonight. I think this friendship will be pretty solid. Yay!

Also going to the coast to see Cazz on the weekend, we’re going to dinner with people I have never met. More opportunities to find some new friends!

I had dinner at mine last night with a girl I went to uni with. We never really had much to do with each other at Uni, but we are both teaching out here now and it seemed like a good idea to invite her around to begin expanding my circle.

We talked and ate and planned. We laughed a lot and got along famously. I will be going to hers for dinner in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to that already.

She left my place, my newest friend :) YAY!

I cant remember when my social circle actually expanded to more than 3 or 4 lovely close friends. As much as I enjoy their company and love them to death…I just dont see them often enough because of where I live.

Being in relationships constantly, I find myself losing some people from my social circle because they have always been friends of my partner at the time, rather than my own.

Time to branch out for new beginnings.

I began last night. Had dinner at a pub in Toogoolawah with Dan. Had a few wines, met some nice locals. It was really really hard. I have been so sheltered for so many years, shying away from social situations and parties. I felt uncomfortable…very uncomfortable, but it was good, I felt alive again.

Having dinner tonight with a girl from uni who also works as a teacher, not too far away.

Have also trip to Gatton Uni Club (gotta start somewhere!) on Thursday night.

Heading to the coast on the weekend to catch up with Cazz :) I miss that girl!

The idea of meeting new people is giving me butterflies and I’m having trouble sleeping at night! I feel like a kid, waiting impatiently for christmas!
