renew my passport

That was quick. It’s here. All done!

That was easy… took all the forms, photos etc. to the post office… handed over £79 (aargh! – I expect a gold-plated passport for that money)... and I’ve done all I can do… now just to wait around two weeks for it to arrive.

I’ve checked the forms, trimmed the photos, it’s all ready to go to the post office at lunch-time…

I believe I have everything together now… and payday has gone by… so I think I should get myself down to the post office one day this week and get everything sent off.

Still plenty of time before the Finland trip, but if I put it off much longer, I’ll have to do it after that trip.

My word, they’re bad. :)

Forms are done… just need to find a day when I’ve had sufficient hours sleep to take acceptable photos :)

I have collected the forms. I’ll look at filling them in tonight.

They reckon it will only take two weeks to receive my new passport once I’ve completed the forms, so that’s plenty of slack before Finland in February. And even more before Japan.

Bumped up the priority list. I’m not going to get into Japan next summer if I don’t get on with renewing my passport. I’ll go pick up the forms at lunch-time.

I think we’re near enough to December now to deal with this one. I’d like it out of the way because I have plans and don’t want to be messing around last minute.

Next time I visit the post office, I’ll pick up the relevant forms.

I’ll miss out on some validity time if I do it before mid-December… but I may well get round to it before then anyway. We’ll see.

I’m sure 10 years and 9 months validity is no real hardship instead of 11 years and 1 month. It’s not like I’ll even remember having done it when it comes up in 2018.
