I want to take conversational spanish. I took spanish in 1989 and I don’t really remember anything, but my numbers, a few colors, and some phrases. Spanish would come in handy due to having students that only speak spanish in my classes. I would be able to communicate with them instead of relying on a student to do the teaching for me. I am really looking forward to the class. It starts on September 16 and goes until November 4, meeting once a week from 6-9. Hopefully, I will learn much and once that is done I will sign up for the intermediate course. I think it is good to be fluent in more than one language. The United States will have more aliens then Americans in it after while. Spanish will help in the workplace and just to be able to communicate with other backgrounds is interesting.
