This is probably the most boring post ever BUT-It’s the third week of school and I’m proud to say that I’ve been grading papers daily and if I do that, it takes like, 15 minutes, max. SO much better than having huge stacks of papers piling up in the corners. I’m actually able to send the work home weekly to the parents-that way, there’s no nasty surprises at the end of the nine week grading period.

There is a HUGE stack of papers (actually graded) that are sitting under by TV. All I have to do is enter them into my idiot-proof gradebook. They’ve actually been there for days. Actually, I have taken the stack to and from school several times. Here’s the reasoning …”Out of school is MY time so I’m not doing anymore school work!”...to “I can’t get anything done at school, so I guess I’ll have to do this over the weekend.”
The new plan is this: take a small stack to work each day to complete in small increments after school or while they take thier dreaded FCAT test…
