Read at least three of the books I already have for every one I buy.

Have gone through an additional three books and only bought one, so I’m doing fairly well on this goal. The books I have left are something of a chore to read but may result in some intellectual enlightenment, so I continue to struggle.

I have narrowed my books down to about 12 that I either haven’t read or would like to reread. A few of them just aren’t good, and I’ve tossed those, but I am going through the rest.

Had read 3 of my own stash, but still bought more than one. Have decided I’ll count these on loan towards 15(bought 3) of my own stash. The 3 I’ve read from my own stash weren’t that great, which may be the crux of the matter.

Have checked out and read 10 books from the library and read none from my own stash. It’s OK, though, as I’m still haven’t bought any new ones.
