Go to a zydeco dance.

Went to see(and dance to)Jeffrey Broussard & the Creole Cowboys, a zydeco band, at the Knights of Columbus. I love zydeco, and this was great fun. There was a free dance class beforehand, and the Knights of Columbus was a charming venue. I am so glad I did this. There was a nice mix of people there. I could see where this would be a good place to go if you were single and liked to dance, too, since there were all ages, many partners, and it wasn’t a meat market.

There will be live zydeco music and dance lessons beforehand.

I’ll just have to ask my husband when he wants to go. There is a fee, and we’re still trying to stick to our budget.

At the Knights of Columbus. This is a regular occurance, so I’ll find out when the next one is.
