Visit Barrington Hall, Bulloch Hall, and Smith Plantation.

Toured Bulloch Hall today as part of my Artist’s Way date with myself. The weather is finally beautiful, the tour and grounds were lovely, and I met a couple from Michigan who were working their way slowly to Florida and who had gone a long way out of their way just to tour these three historic homes.

This was my Artist’s Way date with myself. Bulloch Hall is closed until 1/8. I was able to use my Living Social voucher, which expired over a year ago, even though I basically traded 4 tickets for one. Very glad I went. Bulloch Hall, the property I haven’t seen yet, was the home of Theodore Roosevelt’s mother

I bought Groupons for 4 people last year thinking my family would go with me. In hindsight, I should have known better. While the Groupons are expired, they’re still supposed to honor the original purchase price, and I have 2 friends and coworkers who say they’d like to go with me.
