Did this for 3 weeks.

Now, it’s time to admit that I’m just not going to continue for now.



So far,

so good. Still keeping up with this.



I've gotten a bit sloppy with this.

I’ll skip writing a meal here and a meal there. Overall, I think I’m still mostly sticking to my calorie goals, but I’ve found in the past that if I don’t write it down, I tend to underestimate what I eat.



I've been looking through some of my old goals that I marked as "I'm giving up"

I’m supposed to keep a food diary for this weight loss program, anyway, and have been for the last week, so I’ve reinstated the goal.



Decided to modify this to an keeping a food diary an average of once/wk.

I’d originally planned to do this one week of every month for a year, but since I didn’t keep a diary April, May and June, I would have had to abandon my goal as a failure. Instead, I kept the diary 2 weeks in July, which makes up for April. I now just have to keep the diary two extra weeks during the rest of the year to be on task.



Have to start over again for March

Starting over again for this month since I was halfway through the week’s food diary when the Girl Scout cookies were delivered. Maybe it defeats the purpose not to record those calories, but it’s practically unAmerican not to support the Girl Scouts!



Finished the food diary for this week.

So far, so good. Forgot to mention that I’m also counting calories when I’m keeping the diary. Trying to stay about 1500 calories 6 days/7.

This is, also, one of my 2008 New Year’s resolutions. I just want to do this one week out of every month. So far, it’s Feb, and I’m doing well at it. Can see I’m going to keep on top of this, though, since I’m already seeing some lack of motivation to keep the diary for a week in Feb. Didn’t make weight loss a goal, but I think if I just do this and exercise, I will lose weight by being more aware of what is going in my mouth. Already lost 10 pounds since Jan 1.
