Read an entry in Daily Meditations on Being Healthy, Wealthy, and Wise that says people who are highly defensive speak up more in meetings and learn more slowly. Never thought of myself as a slow learner, but I speak up in meetings a lot, and I think I am too defensive. Can’t learn if I’m not open to criticism, but I’m not sure exactly how to get myself to be less defensive. Anyone have any useful suggestions?
