Mixed results this last week of October

Well…this week certainly was busy and I just couldn’t accomplish everything I’d hoped for.

1. Zumba on Monday.
2. Yoga on Wednesday.
3. Workout with trainer on Thursday.
4. Avoiding fast food this week.
5. Getting Scott’s scrapbook completed.YEAH!
6. Sun Salutations (5 a day).3 days
7. Make my marriage a priority. Not in the way I’d intended, but I tried in other ways!

The Last Week of October Bootcamp

Another busy week ahead, but I still want to commit to taking care of myself.

1. Zumba on Monday.
2. Yoga on Wednesday.
3. Workout with trainer on Thursday.
4. Avoiding fast food this week.
5. Getting Scott’s scrapbook completed.
6. Sun Salutations (5 a day).
7. Make my marriage a priority.

progress over the past week

This past week was relatively successful—I would have liked to get in for a workout on all three days, but it didn’t happen for a variety of reasons. This will definitely be a focus this last week of October.

1. Work out on Monday, Thursday, and Friday.✔
2. Take one mental health day this week.✔
3. Go to Goddess Club and feed my soul.✔
4. Make my marriage a priority by “engaging in marital relations” at least once.✔
5. Drink more water.✔
6. Eat at least 5 veggies and/or fruit daily.✔ (some days)
7. Get a massage to deal with my brutal neck/elbow pain.✔

Days 3 and 4

I’m doing not too badly. Didn’t make it to the gym on Thursday—parent-teacher interviews and snowboot shopping for the kiddies (yes, we have snow today!!!) got in the way. Oh, that and exhaustion! Planning to go to yoga tonight, though.

1. Work out on Monday, Thursday, and Friday.
2. Take one mental health day this week.
3.Go to Goddess Club and feed my soul.
4. Make my marriage a priority by “engaging in marital relations” at least once.
5. Drink more water.
6. Eat at least 5 veggies and/or fruit daily.
7. Get a massage to deal with my brutal neck/elbow pain.

Feels good to start the process of getting back on track with healthy living!

Day 2--hanging in there

Eating wasn’t as balanced as it could have been today, but that’s okay. I had a painful but good massage. Have already booked the day off tomorrow and plan to go to Goddess Club tomorrow night, so I’m feeling good about my goals.

1. Work out on Monday, Thursday, and Friday.
2. Take one mental health day this week.
3. Go to Goddess Club and feed my soul.
4. Make my marriage a priority by “engaging in marital relations” at least once.
5. Drink more water.
6. Eat at least 5 veggies and/or fruit daily.
7. Get a massage to deal with my brutal neck/elbow pain.

Off to a good start

Day 1 was successful…everything in blue was accomplished on the first day of my Commit and Achieve Bootcamp.

I dragged my sorry butt (and a friend’s) to a Zumba class. It was fun, although I’m fairly uncoordinated. Today, I’m looking forward to my massage, even though I know it’ll be kind of painful at the time. Planning to stick with the plan. Looking forward to feeling stronger and healthier.

I need to make a commitment

Okay, so I haven’t been making a commitment to my health since school started in September. Way too busy. Not making myself a priority. Certainly not putting my oxygen mask on first. So, in the coming week, I will…

There…I feel better already! I only have 2 weeks left in October to jump on the Bootcamp bandwagon, but I might as well make them good weeks!

Better late than never

I’ve been away from 43 Things for a few months, between summer at the cottage and getting back to a very busy school year. I realise that I need to start taking care of myself again. I think October Bootcamp is a good start.

I’ll be thinking today of my goals and post tonight.

It’s good to be back!
