FITNESS
1. 20 walks (5 per week avg) I walked 12 times.
2. 20 stretching sessions (after my walks) I stretched about 10 times.
3. 15 weight sessions (3 per week avg) I did only 3 weight sessions…oh well!
4. 4 yoga sessions (1 per week avg)Three classes.
5. 360 Push-ups (90 per week)About 180…weak effort, I know!
6. 600 Sit-ups/Crunches (150 per week)About 300.
FOCUS
I don’t even really want to talk about eating healthy…it’s not been very successful. But…I have had good times drinking lots, eating yummy snacks, and socializing with family and friends. I suppose this takes me to FUN!
FUN
1. Visit with lots of family LOTS of family time. Seen most of my relatives, including some I haven’t seen in a couple of years. Lots of fun playing cards, chatting, sitting around campfires etc. AWESOME!
2. Read 10 books Hey, I excelled here…read 13 in July!
3. Make a trip to Kingston to catch up with an old friend This didn’t happen, although I did get together with a friend I haven’t seen in almost 18 years!
4. Dates with my hubby—at least 4 Only one, although we are going out today.
5. “Quality Time” with my hubby—at least 3-4 Twice!

just not on the computer very much as we don’t have internet at the cottage. I’m still working away at my goals…FITNESS is going okay, FOCUS on diet is not going so great, having FUN is working out supremo, 43 THINGS list is not too bad. I’ll do a final tally at the end of the month.
Glad to hear lots of others are sticking with their goals. Awesome to read!

A couple days late…oh well! Getting into some healthy habits and enjoying life at the cottage!
FITNESSGetting into some good habits this summer.

FOCUSThe temptations of ice cream, chicken and wedge fries and alcohol have been challenging!

-tried to make decent choices
-weighed in on Friday…down .7. Whew!
FUNGetting moved into our cottage, reading, campfires…what’s not to love!
-6 books read
-had a great visit with my sister, my brother and his family, and my cousin
-lots of hammock time!
-played washer box and bocci ball

Since I’m over at my parents’ cottage (where there is internet!) I figured I would touch base with my goals…
FITNESSSo far so good… Been at the cottage for 3 days and have tried to get right on the healthy summer plan. Still need to start doing some weights.
-3 walks so far…two have been 30 minutes and one was 20
-2 stretching sessions
-30 push-ups
-60 crunches
FOCUSGetting back on track, although the temptations of ice cream and alcohol have been challenging!

-getting back into the WW groove in preparation for a weigh-in on Friday!
FUNGetting moved into our cottage, reading, campfires…what’s not to love!

-my sister arrives today for a week-long visit and will be telling my daughters that she is pregnant with twins (after 5 years of infertility)...CAN’T WAIT TO SEE THEIR FACES! Soooo much fun!
-my brother and his family arrive back at the cottage tonight…more cousin fun for my girlies!

FITNESS
Not a particularly successful week. I’ve been all over the place with the family and had a lot of social time…fitness hasn’t been a priority! Not a great excuse, I know, but I’m planning to really get moving once I’m at the cottage.
-Only 2 walks so far…it’s been a busy week.
-30 push-ups this week.
-50 crunches this week.
FOCUS
I have not focused on weight this week and I’m okay with that!
FUN
LOTS of fun this week! The zoo with my hubby’s family (a memorial trip to commemorate his late sister and mom). Great Wolf Lodge with my brother’s family and our family. Celebrating Canada Day with 3 different sets of friends. A very fun and busy week!

My July starts off with a busy first week…lots of social gatherings, time away at Great Wolf Lodge with the kiddies, and getting organized around home. I’m heading to the cottage on July 8th so I will not be on line as much all summer, but I am setting myself some goals that I will try very hard to stay focused on this summer. Here they are:
FITNESS
These are lofty goals, but they will be my main focus during July, as I’m off work. I’m going to try and do this first thing in the morning so I don’t get a chance to avoid it!
1. 20 walks (5 per week avg)
2. 20 stretching sessions (after my walks)
3. 15 weight sessions (3 per week avg)
4. 4 yoga sessions (1 per week avg)
5. 360 Push-ups (90 per week)
6. 600 Sit-ups/Crunches (150 per week)
FOCUS
Focus to me involves making a conscious effort, which is my big issue with weight-loss. I need to make it a priority in July.
1. Weigh-in 3-4 times at WW and attend meetings
2. Track food (even if I don’t do the points, I at least need to be held accountable for what goes in my mouth)
3. Lose 5 lbs
4. Lots of water
5. Lots of fruit and veggies
6. Minimal fried foods, fastfood, and sugar
FUN
FUN will not be difficult for me at the cottage! The challenge will be balance between fun and my other goals.
1. Visit with lots of family
2. Read 10 books
