*Sun Salutations – 5 every day Big fail…only did them during yoga classes.

*Bring my lunch to work every day. Every day but one!
*Track food every day. Totally didn’t happen.
*Weigh-ins on Sundays and Thursdays. Not so good.
*Lose 5 lbs. Gained 2…YIKES!
FINANCES
*No nail polish or magazines purchased this month! Only 1 magazine and 0 nail polish.
*Only buy 1 book this month … for Book Club. Bought 2 ebooks and 1 book from Costco…all cheap!
*Track expenses and “resisted items”. I did track expenses for the first half of the month, but not after that.
*Have at least 1 day per week when no money is spent. This was a success!
*Spent mindfully, paying particular attention to how I can resist spending money and when I can “cheap out” on expenditures. This went fairly well, although the temptations to spend money started to grip me at the end of the month.
*Check into LOC and whether it got overpaid. Done! The money that I overpaid was transferred to my credit card and my LOC is paid off.
*Cancel charitable deductions coming off credit cards—feel guilty but need to get finances under control. I did it!
SPIRIT AND SOUL
*Read two books this month.Nope.
*Journal daily. Not as regularly as I would like.
*Practise self-reiki when I’m feeling stressed. Yes, I tried to do this somewhat regularly.
*Get a massage. Yes…it was glorious.
*Breathe mindfully every day! Yes…really trying.
*Be grateful. I really tried to focus on this in October.

*Well, I could have practises self-reiki when we had (another!) slight flood in our house from a mal-functioning dishwasher, but I chose to pop an Ativan! Feeling all good now!

*Nia – Did a class today (15th)which was SO great. Love Nia so much.
*Yoga – Taught a yoga class on the 13th to some high school students at the Outdoor Ed. Centre where I spent 3 days this week. It was a nice challenge for me and a great stretch!

This entire goal doesn’t seem to be happening AT ALL! Why oh why can’t I just get motivated, stay motivated and achieve my goals?!

*Bought one magazine…but I did it consciously and with fore-thought…and that’s ok!
*I still need to track my expenses, although I have been keeping my receipts

*Spent mindfully, although I did spend some money on scrapbooking stuff. I can actually feel that dangerous rush that happens when I spend money. I will consciously NOT spend money for the rest of the month.

Had a FANTASTIC long weekend at the cottage…kind of took the last few days off, to tell you the truth. Minimal efforts made on October Bootcamp, but lots of progress on relaxation and eating turkey dinners! In fact, I’m not even going to tally things up…just going to enjoy my memories of the cottage and move on into the rest of October!
I’m so thankful for my family, my beautiful cottage, the amazing 25 degree weather, and the fabulous festivities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of my little tiny, country elementary school, as well as the opportunity to rescue a poor lost dog from being hit on the highway and reunite her with her family. All in all, an awesome weekend!
Hope all my fellow Canadians enjoyed Thanksgiving weekend!

*Cancelled one charitable deductions coming off my credit card and sent an email inquiring about the other one. This feels kind of like a relief…I find it hard to face these issues, but feel generally better when I do!
