When a relationship ends no matter what the reason. I always tell the other person that I loved them. No matter what. I am not sure why I do this, perhaps to thank the person for the good times that we did share. I just had a relationship end not too long ago and I just emailed him and told him I was thankful for the time we had shared and that I loved him. Some people may think I should have just let things be. But in my heart I felt it had to be said. I don’t love him in soul mate kind of way, but I do love him as a person. I don’t regret telling him that. I don’t want any of my relationships to end on a bad note. It is easier for me this way to end things without regrets or bad feelings lingering. If something doesn’t work , well hopefully i will have learned from it and will better for it. So “MM” I love you because you have taught me much! And I wish you the best of luck and happy, healthy life!

Regrets? 3 years ago

Well, I look at them differently now…or at least I label regrets differently! But quite honestly…I don’t have any regrets right now. I think all of my past regrets have turned into learning processes for me and I think that to feel that way I have really “grown up” and don’t hold on to negative emotions or feelings as long anymore.
