overcome my fear of needles

I did get my blood drawn and I managed not to cry. The best part? It wasn’t even that bad! It is a very sucky thing that sometimes has to happen, but it’s not worth getting all riled up about. I’ll have an IV in a few days and I’m barely even nervous. Facing your fears is rad.

That’s actually kind of a secret. I say “I’m not afraid of anything”, and it’s true unless you count the whole needle thing. I’m having surgery in a few months and when the time comes for bloodwork and IVs… I will take them with stride. Or at least I won’t flip out ninja style.
