i pimped loaned her to a fiend…

suppose its not the first time a man has lied to me…

4200.00 dollars and a solid week in bits and pieces later…
she has a new clutch…
and .. i’ve learned my lesson…

a Convertible Hater..ran rampant in the garage where she is usually parked in the city.. and slashed the tops of all the convertibles …. i heart urban life..

smells like she is burning oil..
and not the midnight kind.. soooo..called up the boys at European Sports Car East Coast Division Headquarters and told em to expect us on Thursday morning..
When i bought the car..before i would make annny deal at all..i made the salesman drive me across the street to the service facility…
I introduced myself to the service manager..MIKE.. i said..

“Well Mike… since the way i figure it..im gonna see you more than i see my family over the next few years..and im prob. gonna be putting a few of your kids thru college…soo i wanted to make double dog sure…i liked you….”

Mike laughed at this and gave me the grand tour of the facility..
it sparkled like a german housewife mopped the floors…
i like that in a shop…
so i bought the car…
i dont mind if it is expensive..but if it is… it better be done right!!
is my motto, when it comes to these things..

Once last year…i went to one of Mikes kids soccer games…

damn i hope he gets a scholarship…

This morning..ok it was like 10 o’clock…i step outside to drive to the office and Damn if it is not a glorious sunny day!! ..
so by the time i get to the garage i had of course decided that it is definitely warm enuff to go topless…
with the windows up and the tushy toasters on …ya can have fun at round 45-50 degrees
i push the button ..top comes off..
and we are on our way….
now topless with still melting snow everywhere doesn’t happen that often… so its not surprising that i forgot all about the tunnels and large overpasses…
NOTE TO SELF AND OTHERS
.. they drip sludgy dirty snow like son of a bitches…

ok … more like we followed the 3rd infantry Presidential Salute Division _{i think i got that right?}.....out of town this morning..
basically….good thing she was all shiny…cause i was one of the first cars they let onto constitution ave this morning… and we fell in right behind the cannons that do the 21 gun salutes…
living in dc..you sometimes forget…that some of this stuff is kinda cool..not everyone plans their commute around motorcades and visiting heads of state.. while sometimes inconvenient…it is pretty cool to step outside your front door.. to pay your respects..

i came to the city on friday night…and tucked her into the garage….. i havent even been back in the garage since then.. so she has been alone for 4 days….usually if i have to be away for an extended period of time..i leave her at my office..its slightly safer and somebody will start her up every few days even if it is just to pick up lunch etc etc….. we had a RAP show, Wizards Game, and Capitals game this weekend….... and some of the crowds are bad about messing with pretty little european sports cars when they are in the neighborhood.. so my fingers are crossed and ill check on her in the morning on my way to the gym…
on a brighter note…i bet she smells reallly good by now!

so ive never messed with “car scents”.. but in my stocking i found one of these… and i must admit when i got in the car this morning ..wow..it was nice.. kinda sexy..will only work in the winter..cause the top is down the rest of the year..but still pretty nice!!

hand washed, hand waxed, leather treatment and shampoo… she hasnt looked this spiffy in ages!!!

i am feeling like the luckiest girl in the world.. cause i pulled into the dealership yesterday…
and they fixed my lil brake light ..
when i tried to pay..they said MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
she still needs a wash … but Whew!
