Yesterday I inquired about an online certificate program in journalism offered through the University of Massachusetts. I hope to begin taking classes in January and it should take me about a year to complete.

My definite interest is in magazine feature writing, but I’m also interested in writing for newspapers and for the web. I’m also going to try to be more proactive in pitching ideas to magazines to get some more experience.
