watch all movies on AFI's 100 Best movies list

I accidently deleted this entry. It was painful to sit and watch this movie. I didn’t get it. I felt like George C. Scot had to do a movie made up by a bunch of middle-schoolers. What a snooze-fest. At least that is one more off my list.

is now off my list! Duck Soup was not as excruciating as Dr. Strangelove. But, I would not sit and watch it again. Harpo gave me the willies.

Here I am again! I started this 3 years ago, progressed well and then life happened. Well, now I’m back on this goal. I have 25 movies to watch on the 2007 list and then I will be done. A lot of these are before 1940. I don’t find those kind of films too interesting. Here they are:

On the old list I only had 20 more films to watch. On the new one I need 28. I guess I need to go with the new one right?

I saw 2 more--Casablanca and Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner-but I still have seen only 54 of the movies altogether. 46 still to go.

I watched All about Eve, Some Like it Hot, and Network this past week. I’ve been watching a lot of movies this summer. I don’t know what’s going to happen when I go back to work and the summer reruns are over. :) BTW, I have 46 more movies to go before this goal is over.

I watched Treasure of the Sierra Madre. I thought I’d be bored with a western. No! Wow, was I surprised. I reallyy enjoyed it. It’s a very good movie, imo. The other movie I saw was The Philadelphia Movie. I love Jimmy Stewart. I liked this movie as well. Current count: 50 down, 50 to go.

Saw Vertigo yesterday. Not my favorite Hitchcock movie, but I liked it nonetheless.

I watched Taxi Driver and Yankee Doodle Dandy. So, I need to watch 53 more! Wow, that’s alot.

Citizen Kane is off my list. I watched it today. I have to research why it is #1. I know that it was probably ahead of its time, but it will interesting to research it.
