1300 cal.—very good choices today!



I am back! 2 years ago

I have been gone from 43 things for a while. I am back at it now. Start to count calories again. 2 months is my goal. Let’s see how it goes.

breakfast= 325
lunch=600
dinner=400
snacks=150

total = 1475 ( much better today!)

breakfast = 425
lunch = 800
dinner = 500
snacks=100

total =1825 (yikes! too much!)

Breakfast 355 Calories
Lunch 390 Calories
Dinner approx. 800 calories

Total= 1542

Add 100 calories for snack

Total = 1642

Today is Sunday, the beginning of a new week. I will start keeping track of those calories again. I’m going to keep under 1500 calories a day. My goal is to spend 2 months keeping track of my calories every day. I will start posting them here.

It’s been a week since I last wrote down what I ate. I need to do this! I will try again.

I missed a couple of days. I’m going to try harder with writing everything down. I figure I do keep track in my head, in a way. but, I do need to keep track by writing them down. that way, I know for sure. If I write the food and calories for 5 out of 7 days during a week, I’m doing just fine on this goal.

I am back on track with this goal. I’ve been writing it down and really keeping track. I love my calorie counting book. It’s great. It has fast food and some restaurants in it. Love it. Did you know that medium fries at McDs has 450 calories?



Starting to write them down again 3 years ago

today. I have to do this, because there will be slippery slope effect if I don’t. I will think I can do it in my head and then I will make mistakes calculating and then not count at all and finally, I will not think about the calories as they enter my mouth. I need to do this, at least for a while. I don’t know when I will have reached this goal, maybe when I lose the weight I need to lose. I’ll have to think of what I would consider acheivement for this later. For now, I must do this.
