become fluent in french

I am giong to alliance francias tonight for classes to speakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk french!

I will be able soon to speak to my husbands mom in french without saying hey how are you. I have chosen to study about 3 hours a day and it has helped, It feels good to speak something besides ummmm can I have a peice of bread… so cheers to everyone that is trying. We should put some sites on here that could help…Like BBC FRENCH LANGUAGE!!!

French is such a beautiful language, but so damn hard to learn. My husband is from France. While I was there I didnt speak any french, I felt so alone. I wanted to know what people were saying. I have tried o study it, but I think in the back of my head that I am being judged are soemthing. I have begun to understand a little, but when i have to speak to his parents I freak out; and only say “Bonjour”. There are alot of good sites online. I should just get my husband to help me but he is not a good teacher, a better lover should I say. I will try to at least learn an hour a week and speak for an hour. Practice always makes perfect.
