I can’t believe it took me over two years to get this story down on paper. And even though it is a fan fic and I will never share it with my IRL friends, it still makes me very proud. I sat down, I wrote a novel longer than the Great Gatsby and I actually developed a story on which people give me positive feedback even though I regard it as a first draft and I want to do a rewrite. I never thought I could actually write anything else than short stories, I guess I was wrong.

58,574 words, 31 chapters and the end is getting in sight. I am working my way up to a sequel (don’t know why I would do that to myself hahah). I should really pick up the pace now I have more free time on my hands.
I write fanfic, mostly dragon age. I wrote a couple of short stories and am currently trying to write a mayor fic, you know 50.000 words short novel mayor. I am writing it in English, to practice that foreign language. I published four chapters and keep rewriting. I am currently working on chapter five and six simultaneously and already the story is getting stuck. It is a great excercise though and I am really pushing myself into finishing it. I see it as a test, to see if I can make the characters develop, find the inspiration to finish a story etc.
I think I should write on this every day from now on, even if I think most of what I write sucks.
