well, basically I have done this… currently I’m on parental leave with my son, and he’s definitely cutting down my sleeping time… BUT: I fall asleep as soon as he’s in bed (most of the times in front of the TV).

I sleep way too much and feel bad about wasting away precious time. I need about 12 hours sleep a night (would be happy with 15!) and also nap during the day. Drank coffee to stay awake, but got used to it too soon, so I quit.
