Have a successful Ebay business!

While I’ve sold on eBay before, this is the first item we have listed under then new “business” ID! We have a feedback score of 0, so we opted for listing the item over what we paid, but under the retail value. I’m hoping to get the rest of the items we have, listed today or tomorrow. EBay has changed since I’ve sold last so I have to figure out how to do some of the different things. Actually, I find it to be a little easier now.

I think I’m going to get my beads out sometime soon and start practicing some techniques. I think I can make some jewelry that will be right in line with the theme of products I want to sell. If not, I guess I always have my personal acct I could try selling them on.

First things first…I need to improve some of my techniques. I can string beads like the best of them, but some of the projects I want to do will take some wire work…I’m not too good with that. Practice makes perfect!! Although I’m one of those personalities who want to be great at everything I do the first time…wish that could happen…I’d be awesome!!!

I signed up with a new eBay ID mantis_flower. I’ve set my financial adviser (my husband) up with the task of creating a budget for me, which will include purchasing a PO box for returns, investing in our merchandise and getting our shipping materials. Once we have that I’ll place an order and start listing when the stock gets here!! I’m excited, I hope it works out for us!! I could always list on iOffer too, but I haven’t heard good things (their fees are lower than eBay’s but they don’t have the branding)

Other things on my list, are marketing to friends and family who might be interested, creating some online fliers to send to them, and maybe finding some additional wholesalers to compare prices with and expand our options.

This is going to be time consuming but fun (at least for now)
