i have a sweater and a sock left to knit. the socks ive been working on for 6 months and i just need to sit down and do it. the second one is almost done and they are beautiful! but i just need to DO it. the sweater is a different story. i made my own pattern for it, but mis-calculated. i’ve finished the front and back and love it, but it is too small to go around me, once put together. i really dont want to rip it out, but i am having trouble thinking of something to put in between the two sides. normally i would just knit some strips to go there, but it makes this sweater look funny. it is white with thin blue stripes horizontally. with the same pattern to fill in the sides, it looks too much like something from a jail. maybe i will put regular blue down the sides and continue it down the undersides of the arms. any ideas?
