Well I am now studying medicine. It’s almost at the end of first semester, and the first round of exams are rapidly aproaching.
I’m realy enjoying the course, not only because the course itself is interesting, but also because it’s great to be back in the university environment and around a whole load of other smart people from diverse backgrounds.

So I had my interview on Tuesday.
There were some tough questions asked, but I think I answered them all with aplomb. I’m feeling pretty confident at this stage, I’ll be supprised if I don’t get let through. I can’t actualy think of any reason to send me back, unless there’s a heap of other people who are way better.
The group being interviewed was interesting. I was the only person from Perth out of the eight or so of us. I met some of the other med students from the year above, it seems like they’re a pretty close knit bunch, which is realy great. They do a lot of stuff together. I’m realy looking forward to it.
Anyhow, I find out at the end of October.

Early this year I sat the graduate medical entrance exam. I did very well in the exam, easily getting through to the next stage. I’ve been granted an interview at my first choice institution. It’s happening in a little over a week. The interview is the most important step in the process, so I’m hoping it goes well.
