I would like to be published so that my work can have a far-reaching audience and be taken seriously, but more than that and independently of whether it is widely distributed, I would like people to read my stories and really be affected by them. Some people I know say this has already happened, but I would like it to continue, with people I’ll never meet as well as friends who are near and dear.
