I am doing super good now. I had a minor set back over the weekend when I smoked about 2 or 3 cigarettes but since have not had any. I am going through withdrawals. I have had the shakes really bad and have even puked a few times. But I am staying positive. I really want to do this.

Ok so I have been doing really bad on this but my goal for the week was to pick one goal and stick to it. So here we go. I might get really bitchy but I am going to do it. So as of right now I am done smoking cigarettes.
I, Paula, swear that I will never smoke another cigarette for as long as I live.
That was my pledge to myself. Cheer me on and hold me to it.
Well I am not doing great but I am still doing. I couldn’t quit cold turkey so I decided to take another approach. I have identified the times that I most want to smoke and one by one I am gonna take em out. I have already done one successfully. That is at work when I am bored. I can smoke then whenever I want. I was takign a break about every hour. And now I am not smoking at work at all. I found something else to do when I get bored. It is working so far. I don’t even crave it at work anymore. I am gonna give it another week for safety before I try to cut out smoking in my car. I think too much too fast might stress me and make me smoke more at other times or give up again alltogether. And I don’t want that. I figure as long as it takes is as long as it takes.
Well I was sick in bed all night last night. Woke up this morning still feeling like shit so bad I didn’t even want a cigarette. So I didn’t have one….ALL DAY. And ya know what? So far it hasn’t even bothered me at all. Thought about it a couple times but then the thought made me wanna puke. Let’s see how long I can keep it up.
