carry a pack of post it notes in my purse, so i can leave random comments everywhere i go

Well, I have been carrying post its. I left a sticky note the other day on one of my staff’s cars. They were having a bad day. I wrote”Things always get better”

She came in to work the following day asking who left it on her car. Everybody responded that they did not know. She said that whoever did, she wanted to thank them for putting a smile on her face at the end of a stressful day.

I heard this and it made me feel great to know it. I left another one on an old car that was parked next to me and wrote” I LOVE YOUR CAR, IT IS A CLASSIC” and it truly was a classic . I love the feeling I get from doing this…it makes you feel so good inside. So I am going to continue this one for a while.

I am well on my way to start with doing this. I have the post it notes. I only need to get the nerve up to randomly leave notes in different places to try and cheer someone up or brighten their day.
