I wasn’t able to complete a full minute of pushups or kettlebells, but I know I’ll improve. I didn’t last 1 min for my first plank, but I pushed myself for the last two rounds and made it.

I asked R if he wanted to do the 7 minute workout with me, but then I started thinking that maybe I wanted to do something a little bit more challenging. R suggested that we do an insanity workout and I hesitated a bit but then I was just, why not? We did the fit test video because we only wanted to workout for 30 mins and I actually kept record of my reps and I surprised myself on some of the moves. I didn’t do the global jumps because my chest felt like it was compressing and I guess that was my body telling me to rest. I’m not going to promise that I’m going to follow the program, I just want to work on my consistency right now whether that be insanity one day and the 7 minute workout on another.

Did two rounds of the 7 minute workout with R! I feel like I’m getting better at the push ups. I think after two more workouts I’m going to start adding a bit of weight, because some of the exercises are easy for me.

Worked out 3 times this week

Worked out for the third time this week! I did two rounds of the 7 minute work out. I love this video because of the music, it keeps me going. I’m not sure if 15 mins will do any drastic changes for me, but it’s perfect right now just to stay consistent during school.

On Saturday I did another blogilates video for legs and, both workouts from that day and the day before kept me sore for two days. Today I only did a quick m-100s routine: 10 burpees, 40 mountain climbers and 10 double squats for 3 rounds. I haven’t done intense workouts like these in awhile, but I was really stressed out today and I felt like a good sweat would relieve me and it did.


My last entry was the last time I worked out – so I didn’t complete the 30 Day Shred. I’m not sure if I’m going to start over, but today I decided to do a list of workouts from Cassey Ho’s blogilates workout calendar for February. I did 3 out of 5 of the workouts, just because I had to get ready for school. If I’m not going out tonight I want to do the 2 other workouts especially since those were the ones I was looking forward to because they focused on arms and the ones I did were core.


Okay so I did the arm workouts, they were really hard but I loved the last one – it was so much fun!

Day 15

After 5 days of not working out, I managed to complete Day 15 today. Ahh so happy I did it. I have a late class tomorrow, so I’m making a commitment to make sure Day 16 in done tomorrow. Not sure about the weekend, because I have a full day at work both days and then a surprise party right after on the Saturday but we will see! I’m obviously not doing 30 day Shred the way it is supposed to be done, but for someone that has two jobs and full time studies at least I’m making time for it.
